Songs for a Snowy Evening: A Winter Cabaret

Join us for a celebration of the season with music! Directed by Danielle Glynn, with collaborative accompanist Adam Schmidt, this holiday cabaret features some of our favorite vocalists performing a delightful mix of musical theater gems, pop favorites, and holiday standards—an evening of music, warmth, and seasonal cheer.

To our valued season ticket holders: because this is a special performance offered outside our regular season ticket package, your pass code is not valid for this event.

Auditions October 12th and 13th from 7:30 – 8:30 pm

Those interested in auditioning should prepare a verse and chorus from a song they enjoy singing. It does not have to be a holiday song—we simply want to hear you sing something you love! An accompanist will be provided.

To sign up for an audition slot, please email Danielle Glynn and send a PDF of your audition sheet music.

We hope you’ll share your voice with us and help make Songs for a Snowy Evening: A Winter Cabaret a beautiful start to the holiday season!

Director: Danielle Glynn

Danielle is excited to be directing her second cabaret with Aurora Players. She directed Maybe This Time: A Valentine’s Cabaret in 2024 and has directed multiple cabarets with Lake Plains Players. Danielle is involved with Aurora Players as a board member and previously served on the Play Reading Committee. She is usually on stage rather than behind the scenes, and some of her favorite roles include Phoebe D’Ysquith (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder), Rachel/Roscoe Crabbe (One Man, Two Guvnors), Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Janet Van De Graaf (The Drowsy Chaperone), Marcy Park (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Johanna Barker (Sweeney Todd). When she isn’t at the theater, Danielle works as the Director of the Connie Henke Yarbro Oncology Nursing History Center with the Oncology Nursing Society. She enjoys running, baking, fiber arts, reading, and spending time with her family of humans, a dog, and two cats.
