The Roberta Rathbun Scholarship for Theatrical Arts

Do you know a graduating high school senior in Southern Erie County who wants to pursue a college degree in a theater-related major? If so, let them know they can apply for a $1,000.00 Scholarship Award from Aurora Players.

To qualify, each student must be:

• A high school senior graduating in the spring
• Pursuing theater (performance, technical or design) at an accredited institution of higher learning

Students must submit:

• A completed application Click HERE for application
• A letter, written by the student, describing their theater experience and future career goals
• Three sealed letters of recommendation (at least one must be from someone with whom the applicant has worked in theater)
• Proof of acceptance to a chosen institution of higher learning
• A one-page theater resume

Among the criteria for consideration are the applicant’s expressed interest in pursuing theater, related experience and potential talent. Completed application packets must be postmarked on or before April 15. The decision will be made by the end of May.
