Board Of Directors

Rebecca Caufield, President

Rebecca Caufield holds a BA in Communication Arts: Theater from Eastern Nazarene College, where she earned the Betty Blanchard Rice Award for Excellence in the Creative and Performing Arts and served as Assistant to the Technical Theater Director. Her first experience with AP was as an audience member in 2018, and her first on-stage appearance was in Bright Star (2019). “I am looking forward to serving AP in any way I can and am excited about what theater magic we can create for you.”

Danielle Glynn, Vice President

Danielle became involved with Aurora Players in 2019 with their production of Bright Star and has had the opportunity to perform in several productions since then. Prior to joining the Aurora Players Board, Danielle served on the Play Reading Committee and directed a Valentine’s Day cabaret (2023). Danielle has a Master of Library Science and an MA in English literature, and is the Director of the Connie Henke Yarbro Oncology Nursing History Center with the Oncology Nursing Society.

Kimberly McAtee, Recording Secretary

Kimberly’s first appearance at Aurora Players was in 1981 in a summer production of Bye Bye Birdie. She continued her love of performing, but took a hiatus while earning a BA in English from Allegheny College and beginning her teaching career. She returned in 2005 and has performed in several productions. Her real love, though, is ProjectSTAGE, our summer program for students entering grades 4 through 12. She has served as both a producer and a director of the program for many years. She is happy to be serving on the board for a second time and getting involved wherever she can to help Aurora Players continue to be a bright star in WNY theatre!

Erin Francis, Member-at-Large

George Lambert, Member-at-Large

A graduate of East Aurora High School with an AS in Business Administration, George has been a professional musician for nearly 50 years. He began his career as a percussionist, eventually adding vocalist and harmonicist to his resume. Also interested in acting, George performed in several plays as a young man, including the 1971 production of Fiddler On The Roof for Aurora Players. He recently returned to Western New York from the Southwestern United States to marry his wife, Belinda. Now retired, George performs with a group from SUNY at Buffalo, playing classic rock. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and looks forward to co-producing shows and contributing his varied experience.

Tim Musical, Member-at-Large

I was invited to audition for a show by a friend from work, some 30+ years ago. He’s moved out of the area, but I’m still here. As you might imagine, I have participated in this group in many capacities over that time. The draw of live theatre – of stretching my creative “muscles” – whether in onstage/backstage/production/publicity modes still excites me. To be able to do so – with my family and alongside a fantastic group of like-minded individuals – makes this a truly fulfilling and enjoyable avocation. I’m honored and excited to be allowed to guide the organization toward realizing its goals in the coming years.

Nancy Sheehan-Johnson, Member-at-Large

Nancy’s involvement with Aurora Players began in the early 1960s, when she would often accompany her mother, a scenic painter, to the Roycroft Pavilion. She costumed her first show in 1976 for ProjectSTAGE, and later returned to help with costumes and props for Funny Girl in 1999 and for The Women in 2012. Nancy has designed costumes for numerous shows, including Pirates of Penzance, CLUE on Stage, and James and the Giant Peach. She is also involved with props, set decoration, and design, has served on the Play Reading Committee, and continues to oversee our soft furnishings collection.
