Poor Mavis, stuck in an unhappy marriage with her husband, Edgar Holister. What's a woman to do? BAM! BAM! BAM! Three shots fired from a target pistol and down he goes. Now Mavis and her lover can live off Edgar's fortune "happily ever after." But after stashing Edgar's body in "The Murder Room," they discover that the target pistol was loaded with blank cartridges - and the body is missing! With the unwanted help from Constable Howard, a nosy housemaid, the inspector of police, a dim-witted daughter and her millionaire fiance, they try to solve the mystery of the disappearing body. This British comedy/murder-mystery farce by Jack Sharkey will have you laughing - and guessing - all the way through.
After 21 years in community and professional theatre, Peter Bisuito puts on his director's hat for the very first time.
